The command palette provides quick access to any feature in Tether. Use it to navigate, search, and execute actions without leaving the keyboard.

Search Types

The command palette searches across two categories:

How It Works

Page Navigation

Type a page name to filter matching navigation items. The palette matches against page titles and related keywords.

As you type, the palette also searches across your data to find matching records:

Selecting a record navigates directly to its detail page.

Results Layout

The command palette organizes results into groups:

Results update as you type. A loading indicator appears while searching for records.

Memorize frequently used commands:
  • Your most visited pages
  • Common actions
  • Frequent searches
Short inputs work well:
  • First few letters
  • Key words only
  • Common abbreviations
Practice using the palette:
  • Resist using mouse
  • Let it become natural
  • Speed comes with practice

Troubleshooting

Possible causes:
